Terms of Service

1. Accounts and workspaces

• You must be 18 or older and give accurate information.
• Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• A workspace’s administrators decide who joins it and what each member can do, and are responsible for the members they invite.

2. Your content

You and your team keep ownership of everything you put into Mastershorts: scripts, files, comments and the videos you make. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, display and transmit that content only to run Mastershorts for you, including publishing it where your team tells us to. You confirm you have the rights to the content you upload and publish.

3. Publishing to TikTok and Instagram

• A workspace can connect its brands’ TikTok and Instagram accounts. Only connect accounts you are authorised to manage.
• Mastershorts publishes a post only when a team member schedules it or posts it. The person who does so is responsible for the post, including its caption, privacy setting and any commercial-content disclosure.
• Posts must follow the platform’s own terms, community guidelines and music and branded-content policies. By posting to TikTok you agree to TikTok’s Music Usage Confirmation.
• Platforms may delay, limit, reject or remove a post. We show each post’s status, but we cannot guarantee a post is published or stays up.
• Mastershorts is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok or Meta.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Mastershorts to create, store or publish:

• hate speech, harassment, or explicit adult content;
• misinformation, or content that infringes anyone’s intellectual property or trademarks;
• spam, or content meant to manipulate engagement metrics.

Do not try to break, overload, or get around the security or limits of Mastershorts or of the platforms it connects to.

5. Suspension and ending

You can stop using Mastershorts at any time. Either side may end these terms with 14 days’ written notice. We may suspend or close an account or workspace immediately for a material breach of these terms. When a workspace closes, its connected accounts are disconnected.

6. The service

We work to keep Mastershorts available and secure, and we may change or improve it over time. Mastershorts is provided “as is”: to the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those stated here, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for posts a platform delays, rejects or removes.

7. Privacy

How we handle personal information, including connected accounts’ data, is in our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes

We will post changes to these terms on this page with a new date, and tell you by email when a change is material. Using Mastershorts after a change takes effect means you accept it.
